Associated Operators

This utility can be used to assign the operators to the various security roles, allowing them access to the options and the actions flagged in the Security Role Permissions and the Menu Security for that role.

The Associated Operators screen can be accessed from the Operators window in Security Roles.
Operators can be added or removed from the role, but the operator code, name, and email address can not be modified.

Note: When the Operators by Division flag is initially set in Company Information, each existing Operator becomes active in each existing Division, and the security roles currently defined for each operator are copied to that new operator record created for each division.
Manual changes are required to setup restrictions per store, and operator records can be added or deleted for a division from Operators.

The prompts include:

DIV

Enter the division or select it from the drop-down list.

OPR

Enter the operator code or select it from the drop-down list.
Roles can also be viewed and updated individually by operator in the window in Operators.

NAME

The operator's name is displayed.

EMAIL ADDRESS

The email address as defined in Operators for this operator is displayed.
