Add Missing Tax Codes

Global Enhanced/Vertex Tax Exemptions -> Taxes and Exemptions -> Code * -> Add Missing Tax Codes

This utility can be used to automatically create the tax records for Sites, Customers, Divisions, Classes, or Services, with the exemption flags.
It creates the tax records from all existing tax codes setup in Taxes, or from the tax codes defined by GEOCode, providing the ability to set the appropriate exemption flags.
This utility is only offered in the Taxes and Exemptions screen for Sites, Customers, Divisions, Classes, and Services, by entering an * (asterisk) in the Code field in place of an actual tax code in the tax table.

Note: When tax records are added, they do not replace any existing tax codes, nor do they change the exemptions on existing tax codes.
To re-create all new taxes with exemptions for a site, customer, division, class, or service, delete existing taxes and re-add them using this utility.

The prompts include:

GEOCODE PROV/STATE
Leave this field blank to copy down all tax codes currently listed in Taxes, or enter a Province or State code to add only the taxes assigned to GEOCodes associated with that Province or State.

Note: Because any existing tax codes for this site, customer, division, class, or service are not changed, if your firm wants to add taxes with exemptions according to GEOCode, do not run the utility with the blank option, as this will add all taxes. Instead run it separately by Province/State.
