Accounts Payable Menu -> A/P Invoices -> A/P Invoice Tax Details -> Tax Amount button -> Summary Of Cost, Taxes, And Totals

This tax window can be accessed after all the product details are accepted in A/P Invoice Details by P.O. or in A/P Invoice Details if the tax calculation feature has been activated in the Company Taxing Parameters.

It displays the taxes for the A/P invoice based on the tax codes from the Vendor Information or the tax codes entered in the A/P Invoice header and details.
This information is display only.

The prompts in this tax summary window are:

SEQ

The sequence numbers track the records that have been entered on this A/P invoice.

VENDOR PRODUCT #

This field is only displayed if the window was triggered from A/P Invoice Details by P.O. and the supplier's product number from the P.O. is displayed.

INV. REC

This field is only displayed if the window was triggered from A/P Invoice Details and the indicates the type of transaction being expensed.

ACCT#

This field is only displayed if the window was triggered from A/P Invoice Details and the displays the G/L account number from the invoice detail.

DIV

This field is only displayed if the window was triggered from A/P Invoice Details and the displays the Division from the invoice header that will be assigned to the tax transaction.

TOTAL COST

The total cost of the product will display before taxes.

TAX 1 AMT

The amount to be charged for Tax Code 1 for this product is displayed.

TAX 1

This is the Tax Code for Tax 1.

TAX 2 AMT

The amount to be charged for Tax Code 2 for this product is displayed.

TAX 2

This is the tax code tor Tax 2.

GRAND TOTAL

The product cost plus taxes is displayed.

TOTALS

Totals are supplied at the bottom of the window for product costs, tax codes, and grand total.
