Warranty Type Codes and Expiry

Purchase Order Menu -> Received Non-Bulk Serial# File -> Warranty Type Codes and Expiry

Multiple Warranty Type Codes can be entered in this window on the Asset Tag for a non-bulk rental product, so that the associated comments with the expiry date are printed on any Work Orders to service this equipment.

Note: Warranty Type Codes do not apply to bulk rental items, as a specific Asset Tag cannot be identified from the Work Order.

The prompts are:

PRODUCT #

The product number and description are displayed for reference.

ASSET TAG #

The Fixed Asset Tag number is displayed.

Code List:

SEQ

The sequence number tracks the code records in the file.
Multiple codes can be assigned to each product.

Note: The associate comments print in the same order on the W.O. that they are sequenced in this table.

CODE

Enter the Warranty Type Code or select it from the Select Warranty Type Code window.

DESCRIPTION

The comment for this code displays as it will be printed in sequence on Work Orders for this non-bulk product.

EXPIRY

Enter the expiry date. This date prints after the comment notes on the W.O.
This is an information field only, and will not prevent the comment from printing on the W.O. even if it is after this date.
