Products Requiring Insurance/Damage Waiver Review

Counter Menu -> Quotations -> CONVERT button -> Convert Quote to a Contract / Convert Quote to a Reservation ->

This window is only triggered during a document conversion process such as Convert Reservations, or Convert Quote to a Contract, or Convert Quote to a Reservation, when the Use Damage Waiver Per Item Value Limits feature has been activated in the Company Standard Waiver Settings and the customer has insufficient Damage Waiver or Insurance to cover the Replacement Cost of the rental equipment as defined in Rental Inventory.

This check is also required when a Counter Worksheet is converted to a contract, reservation, or quote, as the products can be entered and accepted on the worksheet before the customer information is entered determining the insurance and Damage Waiver coverage.

Products that do not have sufficient insurance or waiver coverage are listed with the product number, description and Replacement Cost value.

Note: These rental products may or may not be excluded from the resulting rental document, depending on the customer's configuration and the Damage Waiver restriction setup.
It is the operator's responsibility to review into the customer's coverage, and to remove the products if required.
