Test Damage Waiver Per Item Limits

This utility can be used to test how the Damage Waiver requirement will be applied to a specific customer for a specific rental product.
Any changes made to fields in this utility are for the purposes of generating test results only, and do not update the customer, product, or any other parameter.

Note: Customer credit restrictions, and product availability are NOT checked in this test utility.

The prompts and parameters include:

CUSTOMER

Enter the customer number to test or look it up in the Accounting Customer Search window.

ON ACCOUNT

This box indicates the customer's On Account or Cash customer status.
This is a default and can be over-typed for the test as required.

CONFIGURED CUST#

This field can be used to activated and test the processing for SRM companies with custom functionality.

DAMAGE WAIVER

This field indicates the selected customer's Damage Waiver default as defined in Customer Information.
This is a default and can be over-typed for the test as required.

DAMAGE WAIVER CODES

This field is only enabled if the Respect Waiver Codes by Customer feature is activated in the Company Contract Parameters.

A window is provided to view any customer specific waiver rates as setup in the Waiver Codes by Customer window. This is information only and only displays customer specific waiver options.

POLICY EXPIRY DATE

This field reflects the selected customer's current insurance expiry date as recorded in Insurance Information.
This is a default and can be over-typed for the test as required.

AMOUNT OF INSURANCE

This field displays the selected customer's current insurance limit as recorded in Insurance Information.
This is a default and can be over-typed for the test as required.

DIVISION

Accept the operator's default division or select the division for the document test from the drop-down box.
The division can impact the waiver rate if there are division specific rates setup in the Division Standard Waiver Settings.

DOC. DAMAGE WAIVER

Check this box to view and select from the waiver options available on documents for this customer as outlined in Waiver Codes Selection window.

DAMAGE WAIVER%

The waiver percent is displayed.

DAMAGE WAIVER CODE

The waiver code is displayed.

PRODUCT

Enter the product to be tested, or select it from the Inventory Search window.

GROUP

The Group associated with the product is displayed.

PRODUCT CLASS

The Class associated with the product is displayed.

CLASS CHARGES WAIVER

This field indicates whether the Rental Product Class for this product is flagged to require D.W. for Cash customers, or whether no D.W. is required.
This is a default and can be over-typed for the test as required.

NO WARNINGS/PROMPTS

Uncheck this box to generate any insurance warnings or damage warning restrictions as outlined in the Account Review Required.
Check this box to suppress any warnings or errors.

SHOW DEBUG MESSAGES

Check this box to display the details used by the utility to determine the results in the Information Log.

RENTAL VALUE

The Replacement Cost for the product as defined in Rental Inventory is displayed.
This is a default and can be over-typed for the test as required.
