G/L Classification Type

G/L Classification Types can optionally be used to categorize the G/L Accounts by assigning them in Chart of Accounts.
This categorization is information only and the code is reflected on the Chart of Accounts Listing.

This table can be maintained in the Classification Type window in the "General Ledger" section on the Accounting tab of the Configure System Settings.
An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Accounting - G/L Classification Type in order to access this table.

Multiple G/L Classification Types can be defined in this table with a 2 character maximum code and up to a 30 character maximum description.
