Custom Delivery or Pickup Charge

When Service is Charged on each Ticket:

Counter Menu -> Deliveries & Pickups / Pickup Console -> CREATE button Create Pickup Ticket / CLOSE button Close Pickup Ticket -> Custom Pickup Charge

Counter Menu -> Deliveries & Pickups / Delivery Console -> CLOSE button -> Close Delivery Ticket -> Custom Pickup Charge

Counter Menu -> Contract Summary -> Create Delivery Ticket -> Close Delivery Confirmation -> Custom Delivery Charge

This window is triggered after accepting the detail on a document to calculate custom delivery or pickup, as defined by a 'Type $' Delivery or Pickup Service Code assigned on the document header.
When both delivery and pickup have custom charges the similar "double" Custom Delivery/Pickup Charge window opens instead.

This window is also triggered when Delivery/Pickup 'Type $' services are added to the contract by the Delivery and Pickup Tickets, as configured in the Divisional Delivery/Pickup Parameters.
The original default rates would have been set on that document in one of the Custom Delivery/Pickup Charge pop-up windows when the 'Type $' services were entered.

This window provides the ability to adjust the custom delivery or pickup amount to be charged.

The prompts in the window for calculating custom delivery and/or pickup include:

SERVICE

The 'Type $' service code that was selected on the document header is displayed.

QUANTITY

This field is enabled only of the Service Code has been configured to Prompt for Quantity such as the number of miles or kilometres, and then the Amount per unit field is disabled.
Enter the quantity to be billed for delivery or pickup, or if no charge should be billed over-type the quantity with a zero.

AMOUNT

This field is enabled only of the Service Code has NOT been configured to Prompt for Quantity, and so the Quantity field is disabled.
Enter the flat amount to be billed for delivery or pickup, or if no charge should be billed over-type the amount with a zero.

EXTENDED

The total dollar amount that will be billed for the custom delivery or pickup service, is displayed.

Finished?

Click OK when the information is complete.
The charges are added to the document services and totals.
