Customer Rate and Price Inquiry

When "Multi-Tier Pricing" is deployed in the Company Rate Parameters this Customer Rate and Price Inquiry is useful to provide access to prices at the product level and rates at the group level, that apply to that customer.

The prompts and filters that are respected by the rates and prices in this inquiry, include:

LOCATION

Accept the default location or select on from the drop-down box.

CUSTOMER

Accept the default customer number or select on from the Customer Search window.

PRODUCT TYPE

Select one of the following product type options:

• Select Rental to view rates at the rental Group level that would be charged to this customer from this location.
  The Rental Search Parameters will be enabled and the selection filters for Sales parts will be disabled.
• Select Sales to view prices for a single sales product or a group of sales products that would be charged to this customer from this location.
  The Sale Search Parameters will be enabled and the selection filters for Rentals will be disabled.

SALE SEARCH PARAMETERS
This set of filters is only enabled if the Product Type for the inquiry is Sales.

CLASS NUMBER

Leave this field blank to use only the Group or product selection, or enter a valid Sales Product Class, or select one from the Product Class Search window.
If a Sales Class filter is used, a Group Number associated with that Class is also required to narrow the results.

GROUP NUMBER

Leave this field blank to use only the product selection, or enter a sales Group, or if a Class Number has been entered enter a Group that is associated with the Class Number or select one from the Group Search window which only displays Groups for the selected Class.

PRODUCT NUMBER

Enter a valid Sales Inventory number or select one from the Product Search window.

Sales Product Pricing Results:
The relevant Sales products are listed by product number with description, Unit of Measure, and the amount.

RENTAL SEARCH PARAMETERS
This set of filters is only enabled if the Product Type for the inquiry is Rental.
One or all of these filters can be used to narrow the search for rental Groups

GROUP DESCRIPTION

Enter the first few characters of the description of the Group to return all Groups that match.

GROUP NUMBER

Enter a valid rental Group or select one from the Group Search window.

CLASS NUMBER

Enter a valid Rental Product Class or select one from the Product Class Search window.

Rental Group Rates Results:
The relevant Groups are listed with Group description and the first five rates flagged to Show on Rate Book per the Company Default Rates in the 'All' divisions table.
A window is provided in the Rates column of each Group record to view the complete rate structure as outlined in the Rate Information window.
Note: Any rental Group with no rate structure is not displayed in this inquiry.
