Process Alarms/Email Now


System Maintenance Menu -> DPL Utilities -> Process Alarms/Email Now

This DPL Utility option is only available in the menu tree on Linux systems when the Telematics processing has been activated in the Software Integration.

The standard alarm process picks up any new alarms, generates one or more email notifications, and then sends the email messages.
This screen shows the number of pending alarms and emails that have not been fully processed.

Use the following configuration utilities to monitor the alarm and email failures:

CONFIGURATION
Select each of the following setup utilities in turn and in the following sequence:
When the Process Alarms/Email Now option is selected from the Configuration radio group, the following fields are provided:

OUTSTANDING ALARMS
The outstanding alarms count shows the number of alarms that have been received but not yet processed to generate notifications.

OUTSTANDING EMAILS
The outstanding email count shows the number of email notifications that have been generated but not yet sent, possibly due to mail server issues.
