Fuel Types are used by 'Texada Web to capture Fuel used on the Delivery/Pickups, as logged on the Inspection Tickets or on the In-Yard Returns.
The fuel usage can then be billed on the Rental Return to the associated Service or Sales Part assigned in the Fuel Types table.

Fuel types can also be used find a product in the Inventory Search window using a 'Fuel Type' filter.

Some products have dual fuel tanks such as a Scissor Lift that uses gas outside and propane for inside.
Each fuel type needs to be included in this table with the tank capacity so that an Inspection Sheet submitted by Texada Web prompts for fuel levels of each tank.
The prompts to setup the Fuel for the Sales or Rental product include:

SEQ
The sequence number is assigned to track the records in this table.

TYPE
Enter the Fuel type for this product or select it from the drop-down box as setup in the Fuel Types table.

DESCRIPTION
The description of this fuel is displayed.

CAPACITY
Enter the capacity of the tank on this product.
This capacity is used to calculate the fuel charge when Texada Web provides the tank level during In-Yard Return or the Pickup Ticket Inspection Forms.
For example, if the capacity is 80, and Texada Web submits a tank level of .75, then a charge for 20 units of fuel is added to the Contract.

Note: Fuel Types with Capacity can also be updated for Rental and Sales product by the Inventory Clean-Up export/import utility.
