Compare Worksheet Count to System Inventory

Inventory Control Menu -> Inventory Count -> Inventory Count Console -> COMPARE button -> Compare Worksheet Count to System Inventory

The utility generates spreadsheet output that reconciles the "imported" worksheet with what is currently recorded in SRM for that location.
The spreadsheet columns include Product# and Description, Location, Worksheet Count and SRM Count at this Location, Worksheet Count and SRM Count at all Locations, the Rental or Sales type and the Bulk flag for rentals.
Sheet 1 and 2 provide a "Date Counted" flag that reflects the date defined on the worksheet from Inventory Count Console and Sheet 2 provides a column to flag non-bulk products that require a location Transfer.

The four tabs that are generated for the worksheet include:

Sheet 1 - Products that Match Completely:
The products listed on this tab are products with the same quantity on the Worksheet as is recorded in SRM at each location.

Example: Product A has a quantity of 1 at location 2 in SRM and a quantity of 1 at location 2 on the worksheet accessible from Update Inventory Worksheet.

Date Counted:
After the spreadsheets have been generated, the option is provided to update the "Date Counted" for sales and rental products at the locations on Sheet 1, to the "Count Date" set in Inventory Count Console if this is a later date than the current date counted for the product in Sales Inventory or Rental Inventory.

Sheet 2 - Products with Quantities that do NOT Match:
The products listed on this tab are product numbers listed on the Worksheet and also in SRM, but the quantities are not the same.
This list includes Sales products, Bulk Rental Products and Non-Bulk Rentals but only Non-Bulk Rentals are eligible for the auto-transfer action.
Create Transfers:
After the spreadsheets have been generated, the option is provided to transfer Non-Bulk products in SRM to the counted location per the Worksheet, and a "Create Transfer" column on Sheet 2 can be used to flag the products that should be automatically added to a transfer record in Internal Branch Transfers.
This action creates the Transfer and ships it, but the receiving location must still use Receive Internal Transfers to complete the move.

Transfer Example: Product B has a quantity of 1 at location 2 in SRM and a quantity of 1 at location 5 on the worksheet.
This product can be flagged to auto-create a transfer to move Product B from location 2 to location 5 where it has been counted per the worksheet.

No Transfer Example: Product C has a quantity of 3 at location 2 in SRM and a quantity of 5 at location 5 on the worksheet
This product can NOT be flagged to auto-create a transfer as the quantities are not balanced. Manual action is required to reconcile the quantity at the correct locations.

Date Counted:
After the spreadsheets have been generated, the option is provided to update the "Date Counted" for the Non-Bulk Rental products that are flagged to be transferred, to the "Count Date" set in Inventory Count Console if this is a later date than the current date counted for the product.

Sheet 3 - Products that are listed on the Worksheet but do not exist in SRM:

Example: Product D has no quantity at any location in SRM but a quantity of 3 was counted at location 2 on the worksheet.

Sheet 4 - Products that are not on the Worksheet but are in SRM:

Example: Product E has a quantity of 1 at location 2 in SRM and but no quantity has been counted or imported on the worksheet.
