Division Time Zones (Linux)

For "Windows" servers the Division Time Zone Offsets (Windows) window applies.
For "Non-Windows" and "Non-Linux" servers the Division Time Zones window applies.

This feature can be used for Linux networks to configure the Company and Division time zones for your company.

An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the System - Division Time Zones in order to access this table.

The prompts to setup the time zones are:

COMPANY TIME ZONE

Select a valid time zone from the drop-down box for the head office of your business.
If this field is left blank then the system time zone applies.

This Company Time Zone becomes the default time zone for all divisions unless a different time zone is specified for a division in the table below.

Division Time Zone table:

This table only applies to companies configured as "Operators by Division" per the Company setup.

SEQ

The sequence number tracks the division records in the table.

DIVISION

Divisions are automatically displayed with description, city, and province or state, as setup in Divisions.

TIME ZONE

Leave this field blank if the division is in the same time zone as the 'Company Time Zone' defined above, or select the correct time zone from the drop-down box provided.

Finished?

Click Accept to accept and exit the table, or Cancel to abort.

ACTIONS:
Additional actions provided by buttons on the Division Time Zones screen include:

• View the Current Times at all Divisions:
  Click the TEST button to view the current dates and times at each division.
  In the resulting division table click the EXP/CON button to view the time zone name.
