Texada Pay Card Readers - Canadian

This screen applies only to Canadian firms and can be used to define the Texada Pay Authorization Tokens by Card Reader.
The token identifies the associated bank for this transaction for OpenEdge.

Interac Canada has a requirement to have a unique verification for each physical Card Reader device.
Some companies may require multiple devices so each Session ID needs to be linked to a payment terminal or Card Reader device.
The device can be selected in the Texada Pay - Prompt for Card Reader window at the time a payment is processed.

The prompts include:

CARD READER

Enter the Card Reader code supplied by OpenEdge.
e.g. OPNEDG81

AUTHENTICATION TOKEN

Enter the authentication value supplied by OpenEdge for this Card Reader which links the payment to the correct bank.

Finished?

Click Accept when the relevant Tokens have been entered.

The Texada Pay Sessions IDs table is then used to map the Card Reader to the Sessions.
