Record Sent Letters


Accounts Receivable Menu -> Statements -> Record Sent Letters

This utility can be used to manually log any collection or statement letters that have been sent to a specific customer. This allows your firm to log communications sent outside of Texada SRM.
The letter history log is tracked in Customer Information with the letter number and the date sent, and can be viewed in the "Credit Information" window. This statement letter history is also reflected on the Statement Letter Report.

Letters generated from Print Statement Letters automatically update the history log.
Letters that are sent can be tracked by date and reported using Statement Letter Report.

The prompts to manually add record to the letter history include:

CUSTOMER
Enter the customer number for which a letter has been sent, or select the customer record from the Accounting Customer Search window.

LETTER HISTORY
Window to view the customer's Statement Letter History including the dates and letter numbers sent.

LETTER#
Enter the letter code to be added to the history log or select one from the drop-down list as setup in Statement Letters.

LETTER DATE
Enter the date that this letter was sent to this customer.

Finished?
Click the ACCEPT button to update the letter history, or the CANCEL button to abort this process.
