Customer Profile Information

Multiple profile classes with codes can be assigned to specific customers in the Profile Info window in the Customer Contact Information.
These profiles can be used to build and filter selection lists on the By Profile tab on the Selection Criteria utility.

Profile Class/Codes defined by the customer's primary Customer Type in the Default Profile Codes will be added automatically to new customers, and will also be added to any existing customers but only when this Customer Profile Information window is accessed, and if no other profiles have already been setup for that customer.

The prompts to create and maintain the profiles are:

SEQ#

Accept the next sequence number automatically assigned for this record.
Each customer can be classified with multiple profiles if appropriate.

CLASS

Enter the Profile Class, or select one from the Profile Class Search window.

DESCRIPTION

The Profile Class description displays.

CODE

Enter a Profile Code within the Profile Class or select one from the drop-down list as setup in Profile Codes.

DESCRIPTION

The Profile Code description displays.

Finished?

Click ACCEPT when all the profile information for this customer is complete.

Note: When a Profile Class or Code is deleted from Profile Classes or Profile Codes, that class or code is also removed from any associated customer profiles.
