General Ledger Menu -> Reports -> Budget Summary Report by Account -> Summary Report by 'Layout' -> Budget Summary Report


This option reports the budget using a statement layout to control which accounts are included.

Budget information can be captured by month and division in the Budgets table.

The prompts are:

SUMMARY REPORT BY
Select one of the following format options to define the account selection:

The default displayed reflects the last type of Budget Report that was run.


Statement Layout Budget Summary Report selection filters:
LAYOUT NUMBER
Enter the layout code, or select one from the drop-down list as setup in Statement Layouts.

DIVISION, "ALL" OR "SEL"
  • To print the report for a single division, leave this field blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division code, or select a division from the drop-down list.
  • Type ALL to include all divisions in the report.
  • Type SEL to select multiple divisions to include in the report, or select divisions by accounting region as outlined in Select Division by Region.

ENDING MONTH
Accept the current month, or type in a preferred date.
The budget will print for the last 6 months from this date in report format, or for the last 12 months from this date if a spreadsheet is generated.

REPORT OPTIONS
This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.

Finished?
Click the ACCEPT button to begin printing the report, or CANCEL to abort.
