Twelve Month Business Report

This is a 12 month statement format of the financial business report.
The report prints 12 columns according to the selected end date, excluding any budgeting information.

The prompts are:

LAYOUT NUMBER

Enter an existing layout code or select one from the layout codes in the drop-down list as setup in Statement Layouts.
The layout description will print on the financial document as the report title.

Note: Report layouts that have been designed as divisional layouts in Statement Layouts cannot be used for this business report.

DIVISION, "ALL" OR "SEL"

• Type ALL to include all divisions in the report.
• To print the report for a single division, leave this field blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division code, or select a division from the drop-down list.
• Type SEL to select several specific divisions or divisions by accounting region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

Note: This G/L report does not respect Divisional Restricted Views set by operator Access Values.

ENDING MONTH

Enter the ending date.
This will be translated into the ending month of the 12 month report.

TRANSACTION LOCATION

Select one of:

• Click Current use the posted transactions from the current G/L file.
• Click History to use the transaction detail from the G/L history which would have been created when the G/L was compressed in Compress G/L Transactions.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.

Note: Generally spreadsheet output does not include totals, as the spreadsheet tools can be used to formulate and manipulate the data.
However because this report is generated from a Layout, the totals and subtotals defined by the layout are respected.
