Balance Sheet

After the G/L accounts have been summarized in Summarize G/L For Financial Statements, the Balance Sheet can be printed according to the format number, previously specified in Statement Layouts.
Usually the layout number is B for Balance Sheet.

Note: Each time a new account is added to the Chart of Accounts, the appropriate Statement Layout needs to be updated so the account is reflected on the correct report.

The prompts are:

LAYOUT NUMBER

Accept the default layout B, or type in the layout code, or select the layout from the drop-down list.
The corresponding layout description will print on the financial document as the report title, as setup in Statement Layouts.

DIVISION, ALL, OR SEL

• Type ALL to include all divisions in the report.
• To print the report for a single division, leave this field blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division code, or select a division from the drop-down list.
• Type SEL to select several specific divisions or divisions by accounting region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

Note: This report does not respect Restricted Divisional views designated for the operator.

INCLUDE PRIOR YEAR BALANCES

Uncheck this box to print only this year's balances.
Check this box to print this year's balances and the balances as of Last Year.

INCLUDE BUDGET FIGURES

Uncheck this box to omit the budget amounts in the report.
Check this box to print a budget column with the amounts entered in Budgets.

INCLUDE ACCOUNT NUMBERS

Check this box to include the G/L account numbers with the account descriptions on the report output.
Uncheck this box to include the description but to omit the G/L account numbers on the report output.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.
