Bill of Material Product Codes (BOM)

This table can be used to define Bill of Material Codes (BOM) and descriptions, so that multiple parts with varying quantities, can be assigned to these BOM Codes in the Bill of Materials by Code utility.
By using a BOM code as a component in Inventory Bill Of Materials the list of parts assigned to the code can automatically be used in manufacturing the new sales product.

The prompts are:

SEQ#

The sequence number tracks the BOM codes records in the table.

CODE

Enter the Bill of Material Product Code, using up to 5 alpha or numeric characters.

DESCRIPTION

Enter a brief description identifying the group of parts to be included in this BOM Code, using a maximum of 30 characters.

Finished ?

Multiple different BOM Codes can be setup.
Click ACCEPT to accept the codes, or CANCEL to abort.

Use Bill of Materials by Code to enter the appropriate parts for this BOM Code.

ACTIONS:
Additional actions provided by buttons on the Bill of Material Product Codes screen include:

• Delete an Unused BOM Code:
  Highlight the BOM code to be deleted and click the DELETE button to remove the code from the table.
  Confirmation is required.

  Any BOM Codes that are in use, cannot be deleted and a warning is triggered.
