Operator Assigned Security Roles

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Security Tab -> General Settings -> Operators -> TEXADA WEB button -> Texada Web Access -> Operator Assigned Security Roles

Security roles can be used to control access that an operator has to defined menu options, action buttons, utilities, and features that cannot be managed by menu tree security, as outlined in Start-Up Operator Role Security.

Roles are listed as setup and defined in Security Roles and can be assigned to operators in Associated Operators.

Access Security on Convert to Operators by Division:

When the Operators by Division flag is initially set in Company Information, any existing Operators will become valid for each existing Division, and each operator will be given the same Security Roles in each of those divisions.
Manual changes are required to setup restrictions per store, and operator records can be added or deleted for a division from Operators.

This window can be used to view and update the roles assigned to this operator.
Check the Active box for roles that apply to the operator.
Multiple roles can be assigned to an operator.

The Operator Security Report can be used to export a list of all operators with their security roles and their current SRM access information to a spreadsheet.
