Current Product Status Report

This report can be used to generate a current status list of non-bulk rental equipment, by Product Status Code (including reserved codes), by location, and byProduct Class filters.
The product list can be sorted by Class or Group within each Status Code.
This could be useful in identifying all non-bulk rental equipment with a specific status, e.g. out on contract with a status of C.
This report also lists the current Meter count for non-bulk rentals that track meter units.

The prompts are:

STATUS CODE, "ALL" OR "SEL"

• Type ALL to include all status codes in the report.
  This includes both reserved codes that are assigned automatically by the system, and customized status codes that are setup in Product Status Codes.
• Enter a specific code to print the report for a single status code, or select a customized code or a reserved code from the Status Codes Search window.
• Type SEL to select a combination of customized codes and/or reserved codes to include in the report, as outlined in Selected Product Status Codes.

LOCATION, "ALL" OR "SEL"

• Type ALL to include all locations in the report.
• To print the report for a single location, leave this field blank for the Head Office, or enter a specific location code, or select a location from the drop-down list.
• Type SEL to select a multiple locations or locations by inventory region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

PRODUCT CLASS, "ALL" OR "SEL"

• ALL to include products from all Product Classes in the report.
• Enter a specific class, to print the report only for products from a single Product Class, or select a Product Class from the Product Class Search window.
• Type SEL to select a combination of Product Classes to include in the report as outlined in Selected Class List.

SORT METHOD

Select one of the following sort options:

• Select Class radio button to sort the report output by Product Class, within Status Code, within Location.
• Select Group radio button to sort the report output by Group, within Status Code, within Location.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.

Finished?

A printer can be confirmed or re-selected from the Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the ACCEPT button to begin printing the report, or CANCEL to abort.

Alternate Location - STAT column:
The STAT column assigns “A” for Alternate Location on the spreadsheet output to identify assets that are out on a contract but the 'quantity on hand' for that non-bulk rental product is at a different location.
Only non-bulk rental products that have a Product Status Code of “A” that allows Rent/Deprec, will be reflected on this report.
The STAT column is only populated when:

Product is non-bulk
Status code “A” which allows Rent/Deprec is assigned in Rental Inventory
Total on hand quantity must be 1
Total on contract quantity must be 1
There must be another location (other than that on the report) with a quantity on contract where the location on the report will always be the first location it encounters with an on hand quantity.

Example: If there is a non-bulk rental, with 1 quantity on hand in location xxx and with 1 quantity on contract in location yyy, the system will report the status of “A” to signify that this quantity on contract is at another location.
