Product Analysis Report

This report can be used to determine the ROI and maintenance cost as a percent of the rental revenue, for Non-bulk Rental equipment.

The Return On Investment calculation is as follows:

    ROI % = (LTD RENTAL REV - LTD MAINT)           12

The prompts are:

REPORT DATE

This date defaults to the last day of the previous month. This can be over-typed as required.

The product analysis is calculated as of this date.

• MTD figures are based on the last 30 days prior to Report Date.
• YTD figures are for the current year starting from January 1 of the year selected for the Report Date, to the Report Date.
• LTD figures are based on Date Acquired or In Service, to Report Date.

STATUS CODE, ALL, OR SEL

• Type ALL to include all status codes in the report.
  This includes both reserved codes that are assigned automatically by the system, and customized status codes that are setup in Product Status Codes.
• Enter a specific code to print the report for a single status code, or select a customized code or a reserved code from the Status Codes Search window.
• Type SEL to select a combination of customized codes and/or reserved codes to include in the report, as outlined in Selected Product Status Codes.

LOCATION, ALL, OR SEL

• Type ALL to include all locations in the report.
• To print the report for a single location, leave this field blank for the Head Office, or enter a specific location code, or select a location from the drop-down list.
• Type SEL to select a multiple locations or locations by inventory region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

PRODUCT GROUP, ALL, OR SEL

• ALL to include products from all Product Classes in the report.
• Enter a specific class, to print the report only for products from a single Product Class, or select a Product Class from the Group Search window.
• Type SEL to select a combination of Product Classes to include in the report as outlined in Selected Group List.

PRODUCT CLASS, ALL, OR SEL

• ALL to include products from all Product Classes in the report.
• Enter a specific class, to print the report only for products from a single Product Class, or select a Product Class from the Product Class Search window.
• Type SEL to select a combination of Product Classes to include in the report as outlined in Selected Class List.

FROM MAKE

Leave this field blank to bypass selection by product Make, as entered in the Make/Model/Re-order window of Rental Inventory, or enter the first few characters of the starting Make information for the selection.

TO MAKE

Leave this field blank to bypass selection by product Make, or enter the ending Make selection information.

DATE IN SERVICE OR ACQUIRED

The ROI (Return On Investment) is based on this starting date selected.
If no date is printed on the report, then the ROI percent will be inaccurate.

Type I to print the In Service date and base the ROI on this starting date.
Type A to print the Acquired date from the Fixed Asset Tag, and base the ROI on this date.

OWNING DIV OR CURRENT LOC

Type O to print the Owning Location from the Fixed Asset Tag on the report.
Type C to print the Current On Hand Location for the equipment.

If a single location or a range of locations was specified for the report, then the report also uses this Owning or the Current On Hand location for the product selection.

INCLUDE DISPOSED PRODUCTS

Type N (NO) to exclude equipment that has been sold or disposed, prior to the month of the Report Date.
Type Y (YES) to include disposed equipment. The status will be displayed as **.

ACCEPT or CANCEL

A printer can be confirmed or re-selected from the Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the ACCEPT button to begin printing the report, or CANCEL to abort.
