Purge Archived Contracts

After Archive Contracts has moved the closed Contracts to history, this option can be used to delete the archived contracts from the history storage file by a Cut-Off Date .
Only archived contracts before this Cut-Off Date will be moved to history.
Usually six months of old contracts are kept in history, before they are deleted.

Purged contracts can no longer be viewed in the Archive Contract Inquiry.

No report is printed but the number of deleted contracts is displayed when the task is completed.
When contracts are deleted from history using this utility, an audit record is written to the Delete Log for the Function RSCH09A with the Cut-Off Date.

Note: Be advised that once executed, this operation cannot be undone.
Hence, prior to running this request, verify in the play environment that the results obtained from running this operation are as expected.
