Update Freight Price Codes

This utility can be used to update existing Freight charges on Groups or to add additional groups to a selected Freight Price Code automatically assigning the default delivery and pickup rates.
The minimum is always set to zero. Rates and minimum can be over-typed for individual groups as required.

Once the Freight Price Code has been selected from Freight Price Codes and the UPDATE button is clicked the prompts are:

DELIVERY CHARGE

Enter the default delivery rate to be assigned to the new groups being added to the Freight Price Code.

PICKUP CHARGE

Enter the default pickup rate to be assigned to the new groups being added to the Freight Price Code.

GROUPS TO UPDATE

Select one of the following Group choices;

• Select All Groups to add all product Groups to this Freight Price Code and apply the default Delivery and Pickup Charges. The minimum is always set to zero.

• Select Existing Groups to update only the Groups that are already listed for this Freight Price Code with the new default Delivery and Pickup Charges, and the minimum set to zero.

• Select New Groups Only to add all groups that are not yet included in this Freight Price Code.
  The new Groups are added with the new default Delivery and Pickup Charges, and the minimum set to zero.
  The rates and minimum for any existing groups are not changed.

Freight Details by Group:
The Groups and rates to be included in this freight price code are listed.
Rates and the minimum amount can be over-typed as required.

GROUP

The group code is displayed.
Groups can be added or deleted from the list and a window is provided to search for a Group.

DESCRIPTION

The group description displays.

DELIVERY CHARGE

The delivery rate to be applied for products in this group in this Freight Price Code is displayed.
This can be over-typed as required.

PICKUP CHARGE

The pickup rate to be applied for products in this group in this Freight Price Code is displayed.
This can be over-typed as required.

MINIMUM

The minimum amount is set to zero for the selected groups.
This can be updated as required.

Finished?

Click ACCEPT to accept the screen selection.

Confirmation Screen

Select one of the following options:

• Select Process Details to accept the new freight charges.
• Select Return to Details to return to the details on the screen for further changes.
• Select Abort to exit the screen without implementing the changes and return to Freight Price Codes.
