The prompts to set the time frame for an On Demand or WinRoute delivery or pickup, include:

CONTRACT OUT (Delivery only)
For a Delivery Ticket, the Date and Time Out from the Contract header display.

CONTRACT DUE (Pickup only)
For a Pickup Ticket, the Date and Time Out for the Pickup Ticket display.

SUBMIT TO
Select one of the two Logistics options for the export of this ticket:
  • On Demand
  • WinRoute

DELIVER / PICKUP AFTER
Delivery:
The date and time displayed for the start time allowed for the for delivery time range is based on the 'Contract Out' time and uses either the time allowance set for the Event when relevant or the Default Delivery Length defined in the Logistics configuration screen.
This can be over-typed as required.

Pickup:
The date and time for pickup start time range displays based on the 'Off Rent Time' time and can be over-typed as required.

Note: A warning is triggered if a time is entered for a WinRoute ticket that is not dated for tomorrow or that falls after the Submit Cutoff Time set in Logistics configuration for WinRoute.

NO LATER THAN
Delivery:
The date and time for delivery completion displays based on the 'Contract Out' time and can be over-typed as required.

Pickup:
The date and time displayed for the completion time allowed for the for pickup time range is based on the 'Off Rent Time' per the Pickup ticket plus either the time allowance set for the Event when relevant or the Default Pickup Length defined in the Logistics configuration screen.

For an Event, if the pickup is past due then the pickup times are set to the Driver times defined in WinRoute configuration.
This can be over-typed as required.

RESTRICTED TIME
The Restricted Time is used by WinRoute to schedule the stop.
This should only be set if there is a time restriction on site access, such as the gate is open from 7am to 3pm.

Check this box if the times defined in this window should be sent to Descartes as both the 'allowed' and 'preferred' times for the delivery/pickup.
This means that WinRoute will be told the stop can only occur between these times.

Uncheck this box if the Dates/Times on the Ticket should be sent as the 'preferred' times, and the Driver's start up time and end period should be sent as the 'allowed' times.
This means that the delivery can occur any time from when drivers start in the morning up to the "end" time, and pickups can start any time after the requested time, up to the end of the driver's working day.

Finished?
Click OK to process the delivery/pickup times to be scheduled and exported to Descartes.

Note: If the operator cancels out of the submit screen, confirmation that this will be dealt with manually is requested.
