Group Min/Max Report


Purchase Order Menu -> Inventory Re-Ordering -> Group Min/Max Report

This report is generated at the Product Group level and lists Groups with minimum and maximum stock quantity requirements as defined in the Group Min/Max Locations window.
The report prints the minimum and maximum quantity set for each location with the current quantities On Hand, Contract, Reservation, Sales Order, Work Order and Available.
For Rental Equipment, the availability total can optionally be calculated by including or excluding equipment being serviced or booked on rental documents.

The prompts are:

DIVISION, "ALL" OR "SEL"
  • Type ALL to include all divisions in the report.
  • To print the report for a single division, leave this field blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division code, or select a division from the drop-down list.
  • Type SEL to select several specific divisions or divisions by accounting region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

Note: The divisions included in the drop-down box are restricted by the Access Values assigned to the operator, however any division can be entered as this utility does not respect Divisional Restricted Views.


FROM GROUP
Leave this field blank to include all Groups, or enter a starting Group, or select one from the Group Search window.
TO GROUP
Leave this field blank to include all Product Groups, or enter an ending Group or select one from the window.

QUANTITY DISPLAY CRITERIA
Select one of the following product filter options:
  • Click Exceptions Only to list only the Groups where the quantity available is less than the minimum inventory quantity defined in Groups.
  • Click All to include all Groups setup with minimum and maximum required quantities regardless of available quantity.

RENTAL AVAIL IGNORE CON/RES/ORD
This selection filter controls when products in a Rental Group are included in the Available count column on this report.
This prompt does not apply to products in Sales Groups, because sales part quantities are considered relieved from stock and so are considered not available as soon as they are entered on any document.

Check this box if rental items should be considered available on this report, regardless of any quantities currently booked on Contracts, Reservations, or on Work Orders.
i.e. AVAIL = ON HAND minus ON SALES ORDER only

Uncheck this box if rental quantities currently booked on Contracts, Reservations, or Work Orders, should be considered as NOT available, when calculating the product availability totals on this report.
i.e. AVAIL = ON HAND - ON ORD - ON CON - ON RES - ON WO

Note: Because this report is generated by Group, and groups can contain both sales and rental items, if there are any sales items in a Group assigned to a Rental Product Class, the availability calculation of such sales items does respect this prompt.


REPORT OPTIONS
This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.
