Hold Invoices By Customer


Back Office Menu -> Hold/Release Current Invoices -> HOLD BY CUST button -> Hold Invoices By Customer

This utility can be used to set the Hold flag on invoices based on a match of the customer # and site #.
It can be accessed from the HOLD BY CUST button at the bottom of the Hold/Release Current Invoices screen.

Invoices including Credit Invoices, that are put on Hold will not be posted in the next DBR#.
They will be exempt from posting until the Hold flag is released in Release Invoices By Customer or in Hold/Release Current Invoices.
Current Invoices with date, DBR#, and Hold status, can be viewed in Hold/Release Current Invoices.

To automatically set invoices on Hold when they are created, setup the relevant customer/site combinations in the Company Billing Parameters.

The prompts to set the Hold flag on all current invoices for a customer by site are:

CUSTOMER#
Enter the customer number or select it from the window.

SITE# OR ALL
Enter ALL to set the Hold flag on invoices for all sites for this customer, or enter the specific site number, or select it from the window.

NEW INVOICE DATE
Accept today's date for the new invoice date, or type in the preferred invoice date.
This also becomes the posting date of the invoice in the G/L and the A/R.

Finished?
Click the ACCEPT button to accept and exit, or click the CANCEL button to abort.
