Date Counted Report By Location

This report identifies sales and rental inventory by product class or group selection, using the date last counted for each location.
The report prints the selected list of products with the class or group, the product number, description, date last counted, location, and quantity at that location.
This report can be useful in determining sales stock and rental equipment that have not recently been physically counted in inventory.

The date last counted is stored for each product in Sales Inventory and Rental Inventory, and is updated when an adjustment is made to the quantity count at a location using Sales Inventory, Rental Inventory, Product Quantity Adjustment, Update On Hand Quantity by Product#, or Update Quantity/Location Utilities, or Inventory Count, or Auto Receive Non-Bulk Rental Item.

The utility Update Date Counted By Product can be used to correct any errors in the Date Counted field.
The utility Review Location Qty Changes can be used to review details about the quantity adjustments.

The prompts to generate the Date Counted report are:

LOCATION, "ALL" OR "SEL"

• Type ALL to include all locations in the report.
• To print the report for a single location, leave this field blank for the Head Office, or enter a specific location code, or select a location from the drop-down list.
• Type SEL to select a range of inventory locations to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

SELECT BY

Select one of the following product selection options:

• Select Class to choose to select, and sort the products by Product Class on the report.

  Product Class Selection:
  The class selection options are provided as follows, if the Select By choice is by Class:

  FROM CLASS

  Leave this field blank to include all classes, or enter the preferred starting Product Class for the reporting range, or select one from the Product Class Search window.

  TO CLASS

  Leave this field blank to include all classes, or enter the preferred ending Product Class for the range.

• Select Group to select and sort the products by Group.

  Group Selection:
  The Group selection options are provided as follows, if the Select By choice is by Group:

  FROM GROUP

  Leave this field blank to include all Groups, or enter the preferred starting Group for the reporting range, or select one from the Group Search window.

  TO GROUP

  Leave this field blank to include all Groups, or enter the preferred ending Group for the range.

FROM DATE

Accept the current month start date, or enter a preferred starting date for the "counted date" range selection.

TO DATE

Accept today's date or enter a preferred ending date, for the "counted date" range selection.

PRODUCTS TYPE

Select one of the following product options:

• Select Rental to include rental equipment only in the report.
• Select Sale to include only sales parts in the report.
• Select Both to include rental equipment and sales parts in the report.

INCLUDE ZERO ON HAND ITEMS

Check this box to include products with zero quantities on the report.
Uncheck this box to omit zero quantity products.

COUNTED TYPE

Select one of the following filter options for the output:

• Select Counted to print only products with a Counted Date that falls within the selected date range in the report.
• Select Not Counted to list the products NOT counted within the selected date range.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.
