Inventory Report with License/Serial#

This report is useful for tracking Rental Inventory with licenses, such as trailer rentals.
It is useful for staff to know where the rental equipment is currently located, and the current rate for that contract.
The report is printed by Product Class.

This report also reflects the serial number from the Asset Tag of the non-bulk rental equipment and the License # 1 (not License #2) from the Re-order information window on the product file, and the current contract for the item.

Note: The Engine Serial number only prints on the report when there is no Asset Tag serial number recorded for the non-bulk rental inventory.

It applies only to non-bulk rental equipment and does not include any sales items.

The prompts are:

FROM PRODUCT CLASS

Leave this field blank for all classes, or enter a starting Product Class for the list, or select a class from the Product Class Search window.

TO PRODUCT CLASS

Leave this field blank for all classes, or enter an ending Product Class, or select a rental product from the window.

ALL LOCATIONS

Check this box to print products for all locations.

Uncheck this box in order to select a single location.
This generates reports by location printing one location at a time.

LOCATION

Enter the specific location for the report, or select it from the drop-down list.

NEW PAGE PER CLASS

Uncheck this box to print the report without paging by class.
Check this box to print products for each location on a separate page or separate tab of the spreadsheet.

COST LOCATION

This prompt only applies if Sales item Average Cost by Location processing has been activated in the Support Application Parameters and products from all locations are included on this report.
Enter the specific location from which the costs should print, or select the cost location from the drop-down list.
If Sales item Average Cost by Location processing has not been activated, the average cost is used automatically.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.
