Commission By Class

Various commission reports can be generated for salesmen. The Commissions Report By Class is based on percentages of sales and of rentals setup here by Product Class, for each individual salesman.

The commissions can be maintained in the Commission By Class window on the Customer Management tab of the Configure System Settings.
An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Customer Management - Commission By Class in order to access this table.

The prompts to setup these commission percentages are:

SALESMAN #

Enter the salesman code or elect it from the window.
Salesman codes are setup in Salesman Codes.

CLASS

Enter the Product Class or select it from the window.

DESCRIPTION

The Product Class description displays.

TYPE

The Product Class type displays.
e.g. S = Sales parts, and R = Rental equipment

% RENTAL

Enter the commission percent earned by this salesman, for rentals from this class.
This field applies only to the Rental equipment, and will be skipped for class type S.

% SALES

For Sales Product Classes (Type = S) enter the commission percent earned by this salesman, for merchandise sales from this class.
For Rental Product Classes (Type = R) enter the commission percent earned by this salesman, for sales of Rental equipment from this class.
