Export Replacement Cost

** This utility is under development and is not yet available. **

This utility can be used to export the existing Replacement Cost information for rental equipment in selected classes and groups, to an external text file.

To use the resulting output file to update costs, the text file can be edited directly, or opened and edited in a spreadsheet. Equipment records can be added and deleted, and the new Replacement Costs recorded, before it is imported back into the software using Import Replacement Costs.

The prompts to export the existing cost information are:

TAB-DELIMITED FILENAME

Enter the name of the new export file with a *.txt extension, that is to be created.
If a path is not specified, the file will be created in the pro4data directory on your server.

FROM CLASS

Press <ENTER> to include all classes or enter a starting Product Class or press <F4> to select one from the window.

TO CLASS

Press <ENTER> to include all classes or enter an ending Product Class or press <F4> to select one from the window.

FROM GROUP

Press <ENTER> to include all groups or enter a starting Group or press <F4> to select one from the window.

TO GROUP

Press <ENTER> to include all groups or enter an ending Group or press <F4> to select one from the window.

ENTER TO ACCEPT, / TO CANCEL

Type Y (YES) to initiate the export process. The tab-delimited text file will be created.
Type / to abort the export process and to exit the screen.
