Print Product Price Labels

This option prints labels that can be attached to the item in the showroom.
It uses the MAILING label, which is also used when printing Vendor Labels and Order Entry labels.
Using standard font size, it prints the product description on Line 1, the vendor name on Line 2, and the product # on Line 3.
In a larger font it prints the selling price on Line 4, and Line 5 states when the tax value is included in the rate/price.

Note: Labels can be printed using Laser printing only from an MFC Windows Client.
To print labels from a Web Session or from an Open Client session, generate the product list to Excel and use that software to print labels.

The prompts to generate labels are:

FROM CLASS

Leave this field blank to include products from all classes, or enter a starting Product Class, or select one from the Product Class Search window.

TO CLASS

Leave this field blank to include products from all classes, or enter an ending Product Class, or select one from the window.

SORT BY CLASS

Check this box to print the labels in product number order within Product Class.
Uncheck this box to print the labels in product number sequence only.

FROM PRODUCT #

Leave this field blank to include all products in the range, or enter a starting product, or select one from the Product Search window.

TO PRODUCT #

Leave this field blank to include all products in the range, or enter an ending product, or select one from the window.

PRINT VENDOR

Check this box to print the Vendor Name on the label, as assigned to each product in the product file.
Uncheck this box to omit the Vendor Name on the label.

NUMBER OF LABELS TO PRINT

Accept the default to print 1 label per product, or enter the desired number of labels to be printed per product.

INCLUDE TAX

This prompt is triggered if a Default Tax for Misc. Reports and Inquiries has been defined company wide in the Company Taxing Parameters.
The selected tax will be included in the list price or in the rental rate printed on each label.

Accept this company default tax code, or enter a preferred tax code, or select a tax code from the Tax Code Search window.
If no tax should be included in the label dollar amount, enter tax code NTX.

Finished?

A printer can be confirmed or re-selected from the Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the ACCEPT button to begin printing the labels, or CANCEL to abort.

PRINT TEST

Click YES to print an alignment test label.
This prints XXXX's where the product information will go on the test label to aid in lining up the printer, and then prompts whether to repeat printing of a test label again.

Click NO when ready to do the label print run.
