Product Price Labels- By Group

** This utility is under development and is not yet available. **

This option prints labels that can be attached to the item in the showroom. It uses the MAILING label, which is also used when printing Customer and Vendor Labels, and also Order Entry labels. Using standard letters, it prints the product description on Line 1, the vendor name on Line 2, and the product # on Line 3. In large letters, it prints the selling price on Line 4.

Note: Labels can be printed using Laser printing only from an MFC Windows Client.
To print labels from a Web Session or from an Open Client session, generate the product list to Excel and use that software to print labels.

The prompts are:

STARTING GROUP

<F4> Type in a starting Product Group, or press <ENTER> for all groups.

ENDING GROUP

<F4> Type in the ending Product Group, or press <ENTER> for all groups.

SORT BY GROUP Y/N

Type Y (YES) to print the labels in product number order within Product Group.
Type N (NO) to print the labels in product number order only.

STARTING PRODUCT #

<F4> Type in the starting product number, or look it up in the window.

ENDING PRODUCT #

<F4> Type in the ending product number, or look it up in the window.

PRINT VENDOR Y/N

Type Y (YES) to print the Vendor Name from the Product file, on the label.
Type N (NO) to omit the Vendor Name on the label.

NUMBER OF LABELS TO PRINT

Press <ENTER> for 1 label per product, or type in the desired number of labels per product.

ACCEPT or CANCEL

A printer can be confirmed or re-selected from the Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the ACCEPT button to begin printing the report, or CANCEL to abort.

PRINT TEST

Type Y (YES) to do a print alignment test. This prints XXXX's where the product information will go, to aid in lining up the printer.
Type N (NO) when ready to do the label print run.
