Update List Price by % of Cost or Re-Order Price

** This utility is under development and is not yet available. **

This option recalculates the list price for the selected Products in the Class and Group, based on a percentage increase of the Average Cost. It applies to sales items only.
The prompts are:

FROM CLASS
<F4> Enter the starting sale product class.

TO CLASS
<F4> Enter the ending product class.

FROM GROUP
<F4> Enter the starting product group.

TO GROUP
<F4> Enter the ending product group.

% INCREASE
Enter the percentage increase of the cost. For a 30% increase, type 30.00

New List Price = Average Cost x (1 + % increase)
1.17 = .90 x (1 + 30%)

COST OR RE-ORDER PRICE
Enter C to base the new list price on a percentage of the product Cost.
Enter R to base the new list price on a percentage of the product Re-Order Price.

COST LOCATION
This prompt appears only if Sales Item Average Cost by Location processing has been activated in the Support Application Parameters.
Accept the default location for the operator as defined in Operators, or enter the specific location from which the costs should print, or select the cost location from the drop-down list.
If there is no cost at this location for a product then the average cost is used.

If Cost by Location processing has not been activated, this prompt does not appear and the average cost is used automatically.

Note: Any changes made to the List Price are tracked.
An audit report on history of Re-Order Price changes can be generated from Product Value Override Report.
Price changes are also included in the more general Override Report .
