Power Kit Components


Inventory Control Menu -> Power Kit -> COMPONENTS button -> Power Kit Components

This utility can be used to modify the components on the Power Kits with the option to remove or exchange them.

Note: Components in a Power Kit cannot be removed or deleted in the Power Kits utility, or exchanged in the Exchange by Contract utilities.

The prompts to make changes to the components on a Power Kit are:

PRIMARY PRODUCT #
Enter the Primary product number, or select it from the Inventory Search window, or leave this field blank to select by Power Kit instead of Primary Product.

POWER UNIT KIT #
Enter the Power Kit number, or select it from the Power Kit Search window.

POWER UNIT KIT COMPONENT #
Enter the product number of the component to be changed, or select it from the Power Kit Component Search window.

ACTION
Select one of the following two actions:
  • Select Exchange to remove this component from the Power Kit, replacing it with another Non-Bulk rental product.
    EXCHANGE WITHIN POWER KITS
    Check this box to exchange the component with a similar component from another Power Kit.
    POWER UNIT KIT #
    Enter the Power Kit number with which the component exchange is to be done, or select it from the Power Kit Search window.
    POWER UNIT KIT COMPONENT #
    Enter the component that is to be exchanged, or select it from the Power Kit Component Search window.

    When the exchange is accepted, the two components will be switched on the two Power Kits.

    Uncheck this box to exchange the component with a Non-Bulk Rental product that is not on any other Power Kit.

    NEW COMPONENT PRODUCT #
    Enter the new Non-Bulk Rental product that is to become the component on this Power Kit, or select it from the Inventory Search window.
  • Select Remove to just remove or delete a component from the Power Kit.


Finished?
Click the ACCEPT button to accept this change, or CANCEL to abort.

The Update Product Meter Information window is triggered if metered products are involved.
If there is a location discrepancy the Identify Primary/Component Location Discrepancies screen is triggered to alert the operator that location changes may be required.
