Quotation Status Codes

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Operations Tab -> General Settings -> Quotation Status Codes

This option can be used to setup the Status Codes to be applied to the standard Rental and Sale quotes in Quotations and also to the separate Sale Approval Quotes.

The codes can be maintained in the Quotation Status Codes window in the "General Settings" on the Operations tab of the Configure System Settings.
An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Operations - Quotation Status Codes in order to access this table.

Status Codes on Standard Quotations:
Default Quotation Status Codes can be defined for rental and sales Quotations in the Company Quotation Parameters to be assigned when a quote is created and when it is converted to a reservation, contract, or invoice.
This default does not apply to Sale Approval Quotes.

The Status Codes can be updated on standard rental and sales quotes when they are created in Quotations and when converted in any of the convert utilities, and also in the Quotation Status Codes update utility, if the operator has role permission giving Access To Quotation Status Codes as defined in the "Miscellaneous" window of Security Role Permissions.
The Quotation Status Report can be generated for standard quotes.

Status Codes on Approval Quotes:
The Status Codes can only be updated when on Sale Approval Quotes in the Quotation Status Codes update utility.
Security is controlled by the menu option and no role permission is required.
The Quotation Status Report can be generated for approval quotes.

The Status Code may be up to two digits, letters or numbers, with a description for each Status Code.

e.g.
       STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
       ----------- -----------
                    UNASSIGNED
             A ACTIVE - CLOSING SOON

            IA INACTIVE
            PP MUST BE PRE-PAID
