Rental Rates for Product Selection

The ability to change the rental rates is controlled by the Allow Override of Rental Rates flag in the Company Security Parameters and this window is triggered on the worksheet or contract when a rental product is selected for the document if the Division Rate Parameters is set to Prompt for Rates in Contracts .

This window allows the operator to over-ride the rates in the rate structure for the product to apply to rentals on this document.
Click EXP/CON to view and update the Meter rate information as required.

If Reason Codes On Override has been activated in the Company Security Parameters the operator will be prompted for a reason code to explain why the rate was overridden as outlined in Prompt for Reason Code.

Note: The rate changes apply only to this document, and the product's standard rates are not changed.
