Log Reservation Deposit Reminder Calls


Counter Menu -> Reservations Menu -> Log Reservation Deposit Reminder Calls

This option provides follow up on reservation deposit requirements.
The Reservation Deposits Reminder List can first be used to identify customers and then to contact them to remind them that their deposit has not yet been received.
Then this utility can be used to log the calls, as follows:

RESERVATION
Enter the reservation number or look it up in the Reservation Search window.

BILL TO NAME
The customer's billing name is displayed on the screen, so that the operator can visually confirm that this is the right reservation.

AMOUNT OF DEPOSIT REQUIRED
The required deposit amount defaults from the source Reservation.

For a Cash customers, settings in the Company Contract Parameters can require that the customer pay the total "Estimated Rental" and/or any "Security Deposit" on rental equipment.


DATE DEPOSIT REQUIRED
The date that the required deposit amount is due also defaults from the source Reservation.

ACCUMULATED DEPOSITS
The sum of previous deposits taken on this reservation appears on the screen.

A button is provided to view the deposit history on this reservation as outlined in Deposit History.


NEXT CALL DATE
Enter the date that this customer should next be called to follow-up again if he has not paid the deposit required.
This date is respected by the cut-off date when printing the Reservation Deposits Reminder List.

If the customer makes the deposit, enter it using Reservation Deposits.
This will stop the reservation from showing on the Reminder List.


LAST CALL DATE
Enter the last date that the customer was actually called.
This information prints on the Reminder List for reference when contacting the customer.

Finished?
Click ACCEPT to accept the call information, and CANCEL to exit.
