Update Fixed Asset Tag Status

The status of a Fixed Asset Tag, stored on a Rental Product in Rental Inventory, reflects the current situation of the item.

This program provides quick access to update the status on a tag.
The prompts are:

PRODUCT #

<F4> Enter the rental product number or select it from the window.

ASSET TAG #

<F4> Enter the tag number or select it from the window.

STATUS

Enter a status code. The valid status codes include:

       A - Active  (Ready to rent, or On Rent)
       D - Disposed (sold)
       M - Missing (stolen, borrowed)
       R - Repair Shop (in Repair Shop for the long term)
       S - Scrapped (this item has been scrapped)

ENTER TO ACCEPT / TO CANCEL

Press <ENTER> to accept or / to cancel.

Note: When the status of a Non-Bulk product is changed from Active, or to Active, the description key (RSPFK4) is also changed, so that if status is no longer Active the product is removed from the lookup product list, and if status is changed to Active, the product is added back into the lookup file.
