Inventory Transfer Inquiry


Inventory Control Menu -> Inventory Inquiry -> View Inventory Transfers

This inquiry shows all internal transfer activity for a product.
It is useful for determining if equipment was transferred to another location, or looking up the person responsible for a transfer.

This inquiry can be accessed from the Inventory Inquiry.

The transfer selection filters include:

PRODUCT NUMBER
The product number and description are displayed.

FROM TRANSFER DATE
Accept the day displayed, or enter a preferred starting date for the transfer list.

TO TRANSFER DATE
Accept today's date, or enter an ending date for the transfer list.

FROM LOCATION, 'ALL' OR 'SEL'
This is the original location of the items, prior to the transfer.
  • Type ALL to include all locations in the search.
  • To search for transfers from a single location, enter the location code, or select a location from the drop-down list.
  • Type SEL to select an inventory region or a range of inventory locations to include in the search, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

TO LOCATION, 'ALL' OR 'SEL'
This is the location to which the products are being shipped by the transfer transaction.
  • Type ALL to include all locations in the search.
  • To search for transfers from a single location, enter the location code, or select a location from the drop-down list.
  • Type SEL to select an inventory region or a range of inventory locations to include in the search, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

Finished?
Click ACCEPT to initiate the search or CANCEL to abort.

Resulting Transfer List:
DATE
This is the transfer date.

TRANSFER #
The transfer # assigned will display.

FROM
This is the source location from which the product was shipped.

TO
The is the location receiving the product quantities.

TRANSFERRED BY
The name of the person responsible for the transfer will display.

QUANTITY
The quantity transferred will display.

Expanded Record
Click EXP/CON or press <F9> to expand each record and display the serial number for the serialized sales part, or non bulk-rental asset that is being transferred, when applicable.

Finished?
Click OK to exit the inquiry.
