Clone Sale Approval Quote

This clone quote process provides the ability to copy a Sale Approval Quotes to a new document without modifying the source quote.
This allows "Standard" generic quotes to be setup that can be cloned repeatedly to generate actual Sale Quotes always leaving the original source estimate intact.

The prompts to clone an estimate are:

QUOTE NUMBER

Enter the "Standard" or source Sale Quote number from which to clone, or select one from the Sale Approval Quote Search window.

CUSTOMER#

Accept the default customer number from the source Quote or enter the new customer number or select one from the Accounting Customer Search window.

Note: If the customer is changed, any discounts will also be change to reflect the customer's discounts.

SITE#

Leave this field blank if a Site does not apply or enter the site or select one from the Site Search window.

LIST PRICE FROM

Select how the price of the sales items is to be determined on the new quote:

• Click Quote to keep the prices of the products as entered on the source Sale Quote.
• Click Product to ignore the prices entered on the source Sale Quote, and apply the current pricing as defined in Sales Inventory.

Finished?

Click ACCEPT to initiate the copy, or CANCEL to abort.

Clone Quote Results:
The new Sale Quote is created as explained in Sale Approval Quotes and can be modified as required.
