Delete Country Codes


System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> System -> General Settings -> Country Codes -> DELETE button -> Delete Country Codes

This utility can be used to remove country codes that are not used.
It can be accessed from the Country Codes screen by clicking DELETE.

Tight control can be maintained on which operators are able to delete country codes, by controlling the permissions on the roles assigned to Operators.
Refer to the Security Roles setup on the Security tab of Configure System Settings for more information.

Note: A blank country code is not valid and will be deleted.

The prompts to delete a country code are:

CHOOSE COUNTRY CODE TO BE DELETED
Enter the country code to be deleted or select an existing code from the drop-down list.

Finished?
Click ACCEPT to continue or CANCEL to abort the deletion process.

If the country code to be deleted is not currently assigned to any customer or vendor, then the code is immediately deleted.


UPDATE CUSTOMER AND VENDOR COUNTRY CODES
This screen only displays if the country code to be deleted is currently assigned to a customer or to a vendor.
This detail paging screen lists the type of record, the number, name, and country code to be deleted. Customers list first in customer number order, then vendors are listed.

In the Code field change each customer or vendor record to the correct country code, or select a country from the drop-down list provided.
When all codes have been updated, click ACCEPT to accept the changes, and to update the customer and vendor records.


DELETE COUNTRY Confirmation
Click YES to delete the country code.
Click NO to the abort the delete process. Customer and vendor records will still reflect any changes made to the country code.
