Work Order Estimate Report

This report prints the open Work Orders Estimates for a selected date range.
Estimates can be selected for a single customer, or all customers.
A summary report or a detailed report can be generated.

The prompts are:

ESTIMATE LOCATION

Select one of the following options to filter the Estimate list:

• Select Current to only include current Estimates that have not yet been billed or closed to a repair.
  
• Select History to only include Estimates that have been moved to History.
  This includes estimates that have been converted to a W.O. and have been billed on an Invoice or closed out to a repair.

FROM DATE

Accept the default date to include all open Estimates, or type in a starting date.

TO DATE

Accept today's date, or type in an ending date.

ALL CUSTOMERS

Check this box to include Estimates for all customers.

Uncheck this box to generate the report for a single customer.

CUSTOMER#

Enter the customer number or window to select the customer in the Accounting Customer Search window.

SORT BY CUSTOMER NAME

Uncheck this box to print the report in Estimate number sequence.

Check this box to sort the report output by customer name.

Deleted Estimates do not appear on either report.

REPORT TYPE

Select one of the following report format options:

• Select Detail to print one Estimate per page, with all the Estimate information including full customer address, labor, parts, services, comments, and totals.
  The detailed report cannot be output to Excel.

• Select Summary to print the summarized list of Estimates including document#, customer#, name, date, P.O., product number and description being serviced, and the serial number when relevant.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.
