Service Recommendations

Work Order Menu -> Work Orders -> auto-open after product entered -> W.O. Service Recommendations

Multiple service instruction notes for specific non-bulk rental equipment can be recorded in this table that will automatically display for selection the next time the product is entered for service in Work Orders.
This processing can be activated by the flag in the Divisional Work Order Parameters.

When a service recommendation detail is selected on the Work Order from the auto-generated W.O.Service Recommendations window, it is included in the W.O. comments and is flagged as closed in this recommendation file.
Any remaining open recommendation details will display again the next time the product is entered for service on a W.O.

Additional service recommendations can also be added for a non-bulk rental product manually by clicking the SERVICE REC button at the bottom of the Work Orders, Fast-Track Work Order Parts, or Fast-Track Work Order Labor to access the W.O.Service Recommendations window.

The created Date & Time is captured when a record is initially added to the 'W.O. Service Recommendations' for a product to meet a reporting requirement for a Texada Analytics.
The Date & Time of the last modification is also captured.

The prompts to maintain the recommendations are:

PRODUCT #

Enter the non-bulk rental equipment number for which there are to be service instructions, or select one from the Inventory Search window.

Multiple service details can be entered.

SEQ#

The sequence number tracks the records in the file.

REPAIR/SERVICE RECOMMENDATION

Enter the instruction notes to display for this equipment when it is serviced on a Work Order.
When the detail is selected on the W.O. this note will be copied to the Work Order Comments flagged to print.

CLOSED

Uncheck this box to cause this instruction line to display the next time this equipment is entered for service on a W.O.
When the detail is selected on the W.O. this note will automatically be flagged closed.

Check any instruction detail lines flagged that should not display on the W.O. for action.

Note: This utility will not display in the menu if no divisions have activated this feature in the Divisional Work Order Parameters.
