Web Services Overview

Getting Started Overview Information Guide -> Web Services Overview

Web Services can be used to provide access to the data tables in order to port information out of Texada SRM that could then be loaded into another software application, such as Salesforce.com (SFDC).

The CSV (Comma Separated Values) file export action on select tables can be scheduled and automated by setting up the SFEX01 job on Automatic Job Scheduling, that will export all records not yet marked as processed.

Records included in the CSV files include:

ARCF, ARCA - Customer Information
ARST - Site Information - Job Site information
ARNC - Customer Name Checklist
RSPC - Rental Product Classes / Sales Product Classes
RSGF - Groups

During the CSV generation all records touched since the last export will be added to the CSV corresponding log file.
The database housekeeping scripts will purge all records more than 90 days old.

The first columns in the CSV file will always be sequenced as follows:

Rental Rates
Rental Rates are not included in the CSV file export because of the complexity of the rental rate calculations and the fact that rates can change.

Activate the Salesforce Exports feature in Software Integration.
Setup the user access information in Web Services Users.
Track Web Services use in Web Services Sessions.
